An Ode to my digital camera

Oh my dear camera
you are my friend
you help me a lot
for lots of things

you make me able to remain my memories
you make me to be prettier than myself
you can go with me everywhere I want
so how loyal are you for me dear

Dear my digital camera
you let me laugh aloud
you allow me to cry
you persuade me to smile
you let me see truth
which is about to disappear

Whenever I want to return my time back
Whenever I want to be fall in memories
Whenever I want to see something again
However you will let me to do so

Invisibility portion

"This sucks. This really sucks, you know,"I said.
"I know," Steph sat down. leaning her back to an old mossy tree."Life sucks," she murmured.
Really. she's not overreacting. This is not the first time, I tell you. The so-called "7 Princesses" have been torturing Stephanie and me for the whole semester, just for the reason that I got the highest grade in class before. Today was not an exception. Those girls say things that no one could ever imagine in their wildest dreams, but if you look at how they act in front of boys and teachers, all you can say is "WOW."
Those monsters are unbelievable.
Depressed, Steph and I were walking down the street along the forest full of damp trees. I was staring into nothingness when she pointed at something. "LOOK AT THAT!!!" she shouted, jumping as high as human body allows. I followed the direction of her finger to find a cottage. There was nothing oh-so-special about it except the fact that it was old and fragile. "Did you see that? Did you see that? It wasn't there before, but it's there now! That's so AWESOME!" Steph screamed excitedly.
"Yeah, sure," I squinted my eyes to the old cottage. I didn't really want to go in, but it seemed like my personal opinion didn't matter at all. Stephanie litterally dragged me into the cottage.
"Whoa, that's so awesome," Steph was lost in wonders. I didn't get how that could be possible since there were nothing so fascinating to me that grabbed my attention until I saw the book. It was stuck in the corner, btu there was something veru special about it. It lured me as if it was part of me. With great care, I picked up the old raggy book, which looked as it the thin yellow pages would rip with just one touch.
"Hey, Steph, look at this," I dusted the leather cover of the big book with my hands. It said: "THE GREAT ALCHYMIST'S BOOK OF POTIONS & SPELLS".
"That's the coolest and the awesomest thing I've ever seen in my life!" she exclaimed, already peeking into the pages. But before we could open the book, I heard rustling sound behing the front door. We hurriedly hid behind the stacks of rusty gadgets of machine. I peeked through a hole in one of the gadgets. There were three men. Two wearing tuxedoes and sunglasses looked like bodyguards of the third man, who was in veils.
I heard a barking voice which probably came from the third guy. "Find the book! Find it!"
"I'm sorry, sir, but it's nowhere. We searched every single square meter of this place, and we couldn't find it," one of the bodyguards replied. I looked down at the book in my hands. Was this the book they were talking about?Never minds, we jumped out of the window next to us. THe sun was going behind the mountain. "We'd better hurry." I whispered.
After 10 minutes of listening to the third man's nagging, they finally got out. Reading each other's face, we ran back to my house. We threw our backpacks on the couch and flied down the stairs to the basement. I carefully opened the book to a page which said "INVISIBILITY POTION". Steph and I started making the potion, putting all the ingrediants in somekind of a pot. "It says here that we have to wait for 10 hours and 39 minutes," Steph said.
"UGH, do we have to wait until tomorrow? Let's meet at my house tomorrow morning, okay?" I said.
"Okay, bye. See you tomorrow," Stephanie left.
And I kept staring into the pot, wondering what could possibly happen tomorrow.
         Next morning...

          "Hey Steph! Wake up!"
At 4:27 A.M,  I woke up and shouted towards Stephanie.
Then suddenly Stephanie stood up quickly and asked me "What time is it now?".
"It's four twenty eight, Steph. Come on."
"Oh my gosh! We're too late! We passed time to stir. Let's stir it right away now."
Steph and Susie stirred the portion. As they stir, the portion became light bluish."
"Now, what we need to do is planning while waiting for it to be cooled."
"Okay. What do you want to do if you become invisible?"
"Um..Pull pranks to the people walking in the street?"
"How about surprising our own family first?"
          "Hey.." suddenly Steph became serious.
"What about those braggarts who are always fooling us around?"
           "....You mean those "7 princesses"...right?"
           "Yeah...HUH! 7 princesses? Suck! @~#!@$@#% !"
           "Hoo..let's calm down."
"Wait, how long does the portion work? we should check it first."
"Let me find it...Hum..Here it is. A sip of it will work for 30 minutes, and half of bottle of this portion works for 5 hours."
Steph read the sentence aloud from the book. I was thrilled.
"Howa! That will be enough for us. Now let's finish our plans."
"Of course we should. Well firstly I'd like to bother those snobs. How about you?"
"Same as me, though. Then how?"
We talked a lot about it.
After a while we called our teacher, Ms. Lee that we cannot actually attend school today because we are sick. We pretended very well so she seemed to be really worrying.
"Now, it's time for the drink."
We shared it into half and drank together.
It felt really hot inside after drinking it up. I was melting and melting into the ground but I couldn't even say anything. After a real while the melting stuff disappeared.
"Oh...are you okay Steph?" "Yes. At first it was very painful but it's gone now."
"Oh really? Me too!"  "Now let's go to our school. Umhahaha!"
"Sure~!"

Class..
           "Hey, did you hear that?"
           "What?"
"The two loners are not comming today!"
           "Oh~that's "too" bad~"
"Hahaha!Yeah..What should we do then?Crying for the dumbs' absent?"
           "Hahahaha~!!"
When we went into the classroom invisible and silently, we could hear the terrible vioce of "7 princesses"...or "7 pigs"..ha!"
"What will we do now?" I asked Steph very queitly.
Steph seemed to be so upset. She was about to be burned so she couldn't even say something to me.
"Oh Steph..calm down..we can revenge now" I whispered.
"Let's beat them!" shouted Steph into my innocent ears.
"No,no we can't do that Steph. If we do that, it might cause huge trouble, so let's just have some fun."
"How?" "I have an idea..Just watch me."
Then I tiptoed to one of 7 princesses who was holding a mirror and making her hair.
I grapped her mirror carefully and pulled it out and threw it into the sky.
It looked like it jumped and was flying.
Our classmates really seemed to be shocked.
"Oh, oh my gosh what's happening?!!" cried the girl who was holding a mirror.
Some of our classmates started to scream and others just stared at the mirror.
Their mouth were wide opened and they looked like foolish or idiots.
"Hhowa..Amazing.."  gasped a girl who is not one of the 7 princesses but still one of the classmates.
We kept catching mirror and throwing up in the ceiling. We really enjoyed a lot.
After about some minutes later we stopped throwing and just crashed the mirror.
No one even ever thought about bringing teacher or someone.
They were too surprised and some were enjoying and most of the girls thought that it's magic or probably curse (because the girl holding the mirror was reaaally annoying and mean).
We could feel joy and happiness by the result we made and we came out from the classroom.
We went to playground and played.
Playing without being seen made us feel so great.
We talked a lot in even loud voice(we could do so because there was no one in the playground).
After about 2 hours later we went to the street.
There were lots of people walking in the street.
"Susie, what will we do now?" whispered Steph.
"Um..let's just take their hats off and make them float or something"
"Aha!Then let's take that guy's hat off" she whispered while pointing at a guy near us.
We spent time in the street taking of people's hats and then  we felt like that portion was now lost its power because our fingernail strated to be shown.
Therefore we ran away from there and went into a nearest cave and we became "visible person" again.

Is television good or bad?

In this generation, there are television sets almost everywhere.
However, did you ever think about why there are television sets all around?
Even though the television is not absolutely necessary, why it is surronding us?
That's because of two powerful reasons.
It distracts people and many people actually earn money by using it.
Therefore there are two main problems, too.
One is that it might cause poisonous addiction and another is that it makes people violent and unhealthy.
Now I'll explain about these.

Firstly, watching television makes people insane.
There are lots fo cases that support the idea of television does harm.
There are some cases that it damages people's brain and some cases show that it makes people not very creative and can't concentrate well.
Moreover there are a few countries that are banning to have televisions in the houses who have babies.
This means exactly the one thing-that television is not really necessary but harmful for people.

Secondly the television makes people violent and unhealthy.
It is scientifically proved that electromagnetic waves are affectable to people, especially for children.
The electromagnetic waves are coming out from the television so it's not good for your health to watch TV.
Moreover you';; become fat if you watch too much TV because you won't exercise.
Also it makes people violent because TV shows people lots of violence and it really affects people's thoughts.

In conclusion, the television is not necessary and affect us in bad ways.
Watching it makes us go mad and weaker.
Moreover it makes us violent, too.
Therefore the televison is not  very nice thing to be with.

Challenge

Challenge is not mandatory but nessary experience for us.
Many ordinary people don't want to challenge something at the very first time.
However maybe I am an extraordinary person.
I like challenging very much and one of my most challenging stories is that about climbing Mt.Jiri.
I thought I would be able to challege and test my limits.
Also I could feel the fresh air and see the beautiful sky with lots of stars in Mt.Jiri.

Firstly, by climbing Mt.Jiri I could test my limits and improve myself both physically and mentally.
It made me realy tired and exhausted to climb such a mountain but I went out of from my fatigue(or exhaustion) by tolerating and putting up with these kinds of stress.
As the time past, I got better and better in walking in such a rocky path and going up and down.
Physically my body was quite tired and mentally I got stress sometimes.
But eventually I could know how to overcome these.

Secondly, I'm going to let you know about the challenge I made.
In my elementry school, we could choose a place go for the graduational trip out of five places.
Although most of my friends and more than half of my classmates went to Gangwondo for the trip, I chose Mt.Jiri because of several reasons such as I told you about before.
It was surely a difficult choice for me because if I would choose Mt.Jiri I wll be too lonely.
My friends tried to persuade me to go to Gangwondo so they said to me that graduation trip is for playing with the friends and make good memory with them.
Neverthless about what my friends told me I chose Mt. Jiri.

Lastly I learned about perseverance and became confident.
I needed lots of patience to climb up the mountain so even if I felt like the mountanin  was endless, it wasn't.
It took little bit of much time but it ended somehow so I required patience to climb up all the way to the top and then to the bottom.
Therefore I could learn about the perseverence and experienced perseverence easily and naturally.
In addition, I got comfident because maybe for some people who climb the mountain  might say "Oh, it's not that big thing" but for me it was a great achievement to climb the third highest mountain in my country, Korea..

In conclusion, I made an attept on myself, became comfident and learned endureness by climbing the Mt.Jiri.
Moreover, I made a great memory even though I couldn't be with my friends, so that the memory will shine in my heart forever.

About me

Hello, reader. I'm Susie and I'm going to introduce myself for you.
If you want to know about me, you can know about me by reading this essay.
There are some secrets that I have inside, and now I'll tell you about it.

First of all, I have so many dreams that are uncountable.
I wish I could be a lawyer, prosecutor,  judge, writer, reporter, politician, professor, environmental engineer, etc.
I want to be pretty, intelligent, eloquent, focused.
I hope the earth become fresh, clean and peaceful.
I came to the camp because of my dreams, too.

Secondly, I like reading books and Taekwondo.
Reading books makes me really comfortable and it makes me very happy.
I could learn and feel many things by books. I could get lots of knowledge by reading specialty publications and I could learn many emotions ,feelings and expressions.
Doing Taekwondo is like a brief for me. It might be strange for you that a girl likes doing Taekwondo but it helps me to become healthy and to get rid of the stresses.
Even though I'm not good at Taekwondo very well because I'm not flexible, I like to do Taekwondo.

Finally, I will introduce about my family.
My family is four. Mother, father, me and my younger sister.
My mother is a homemaker. She takes care of my families and the house.
She is so kind and gentle except sometimes when she gets mad.
My father works at a company and he is diligent.
He likes playing golf a lot.
My younger sister is very cute even though she is tall.
She is nice to many people and she plays flute well.

In conclusion, I have many dreams, I like reading books and Taekwondo.
Moreover, I told you about my family before.
Thank you for reading my essay.
